Refund Policy

This policy explains how refunds work for engagements with Hodari Ventures (the company behind the inc.co.ke / “INC.” website). It applies to the professional service fees you pay to us. Engagements are invoiced, and payment information is provided at the point of engagement.
Government and third-party charges
Official charges paid to third parties on your behalf — for example company-registry fees, permit and immigration fees, and bank charges — are non-refundable once they have been paid to the relevant authority or institution, as those amounts are outside our control and are not retained by us.
Professional fees
Our own professional fees are treated as follows:
- Before work has begun: refundable in full, less any administrative or onboarding costs we have already reasonably incurred.
- Once work is under way: we will refund the portion of the fee that reflects work not yet performed, assessed reasonably against the agreed scope.
- Where the engaged scope is complete: fees are non-refundable.
Outcomes outside our control
Our fees pay for our professional work, not for a guaranteed result. We do not provide refunds where a third party makes a decision outside our control — for instance a bank declining to open an account, or an authority rejecting an application — or where delay or refusal arises from inaccurate, incomplete, or late information.
How to request a refund
To request a refund, email web@inc.co.ke with your name, the engagement details, and the reason for your request. We aim to acknowledge requests within one business day and, where a refund is due, to process it to the original payment method where possible.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The terms that apply to your engagement are those set out in your engagement agreement together with this policy as in effect at the time.

By engaging our services, you confirm that you have read and agree to this Refund Policy, read together with your engagement agreement.
